I-64, an east-west route which runs from the port at Norfolk, Virginia on the eastern seaboard to St. Louis on the Mississippi where it meets I-70 for access to the West |

I-65, a north-south route which runs from Chicago to the Gulf of Mexico at Mobile, Alabama, and passes through Indianapolis, Nashville and Birmingham along the way, intersecting the five other major east-west interstates |

I-71, a north-south route which begins in Louisville and runs through Cincinnati and Columbus to Cleveland with access to the three primary east-west interstates to the northeast (I-70/76 to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, I-80 to New York and I-90 to Boston) |

I-265, an east-west connector route which links I-64, I-65 and State Highway 62 in Southern Indiana. I-265 terminates at Highway 62 at the entrance to the Clark Maritime Center in Jeffersonville |

Southern Indiana is also served by U.S. Routes 150 and 31 and by State Highways 3, 11, 62, 111, 160, 311 and 403.
