Southern Indiana’s immediate interstate access makes it an ideal location for companies needing direct access to market. Southern Indiana is located at the intersection of three major interstate highways (I-64, I-65, and I-71) and has ready one-day access to every major metropolitan area within a 400-mile radius as well as easy access to every major metropolitan area in the nation.

In addition, Southern Indiana has excellent air service that can be accessed through Louisville International Airport, 3rd busiest cargo airport in the nation and home of United Parcel Service’s (UPS) overnight delivery system. Noncommercial air services are available at the Clark Regional Airport, which also serves as the reliever airport for Louisville International Airport. Southern Indiana’s location on the banks of the Ohio River, part of the nation’s most active river system, is enhanced by the Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville, home of Foreign Trade Zone Number 170 and one of the nation’s most advanced barge operations.
