2010 Minority & Women Business Owners Conference

In its 11th year this conference boasts nearly 100 exhibitors and 500 attendees, six workshop sessions, on branding and marketing your business, strategic planning, social networking, sales, wellness & stress relief, and leadership. The MWBOC has helped thousands of MWBE’s connect with each other, non-minority and woman owned businesses, and corporate partners to build their businesses. To make the conference even more all encompassing, we have incorporated two Match Maker sessions and a Certification Connection.
MatchMaker’s Program conference calls are this Friday, March 12th at
11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm EST.
This call is designed to help Vendors get prepared so that you can make your pitch to the Primes. It is imperative that each Vendor be prepared when meeting with the Primes. From there the lines will be un-muted and you will be able to ask questions.

Matchmakers Program
MatchMakers is a program where we bring together certified WBE’s, MBE’s, DBE’s and veteran-owned businesses (Vendors) with Corporations and Government Agencies (Primes). The Primes will each have table set up in a separate area than the Expo and Vendors will have eight minutes to meet with each Prime of their choosing. Prior to the event we will publish a list of Primes that will be at the event and a listing of the types of businesses that they are seeking to do business with.
Primes expect each Vendor to be prepared to make their pitch. Therefore it is imperative that each Vendor be prepared. We will hold at least one conference call a few weeks before the conference for vendors wanting to attend MatchMakers to help get you prepared.
The conference call is Wednesday March 3rd at 11am EST.
