The Southern Indiana economy is stable and diverse. Over the past decade, significant growth has occurred with a number of new industries locating in Clark and Floyd Counties. The increase in new jobs has caused a revitalization in the local retail offerings. New entrants into the market increased the range of goods and services being offered.
