Agency Mission Statement or Description:

Interfaith Community Council is a community ministry that creates partnerships between churches and the community to address the needs of the community. Through a wide range of programs we meet immediate needs, provide opportunities for volunteering and meaningful service, promote the positive development of youth, promote social justice and enhance community development.

Economic Impact:

Last year, on a budget of less than $500,000, Interfaith provided 4.87 Million Dollars in programs and services to this community with no fees-for-services programs.

Of that, over $4M were volunteer hours. These services provide unpaid staff and other volunteer roles at 160 nonprofit sites across a five county region. Interfaith’s core services at the Market Street location require as many as 100 volunteers, each week, 40 of who are unpaid part time staff positions.

Our listing of collaborations with other nonprofits, businesses, associations, cities, counties and individuals is extensive and we firmly believe in open communication between the nonprofits and business sectors.

Last year, 823,519 was distributed in direct services in areas such as: eviction and utility disconnection prevention, food, packed back packs, holiday assistance, clothing for teens, Dial A Care for homebound and disabled individuals, youth development and more.
