Economic Impact:
Preparing the workforce of the future, Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana is the region's leading provider of life-changing economics programs for students.

Utilizing the life experiences of local volunteers, JA’s programs teach work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy in a dynamic, hands-on manner.

JA has made the commitment to serve every student in the region four times in his or her school career to prepare them to succeed in a global economy.

Locally, JA serves more than 43,000 students with programs in 14 counties throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana both in the classroom and at the James W. Robinson Junior Achievement Center for Freedom of Enterprise.

Junior Achievement has served more than 350,000 students since its inception in 1949, teaching skills that create more educated consumers, employees and citizens.  Annually JA is now able to offer programs to more than 40,000 students throughout Kentuckiana.  By teaching the economics of life, JA is preparing the workforce and consumers of the future.  JA is working to cause greater economic potential in our region.  In addition, with an annual budget of $1,250,000, JA utilizes local vendors for legal services, banking, payroll, printing, janitorial, and other business needs.
