FIRST SAVINGS FINANCIAL GROUP, INC. BOARD RINGS NASDAQ CLOSING BELL

First Savings Financial Group, Inc., the holding company for First Savings Bank, F.S.B. in southern Indiana, recently participated in the NASDAQ Stock Market closing ceremony, where members of its Board of Directors and Executive Management rang the NASDAQ Stock Market closing bell on Monday, March 23, 2009.

Last October, First Savings Financial Group completed its initial public offering in connection with the Bank’s conversion from the mutual to stock form of organization. The Company’s common stock began trading on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the symbol “FSFG.”
