September 2009 Ambassador of the Month

One Southern Indiana would like to congratulate Benjamin Sapp with Corbett, Lynch and Company for being chosen Ambassador of the Month for September 2009.

Benjamin Sapp is a Tax Accountant for Corbett, Lynch and Company, a small CPA firm in Jeffersonville IN. Corbett, Lynch specializes in tax, but also provides full service bookkeeping, payroll and other cost and financial accounting services. Ben has been with them since August 2008, but has been in public accounting for over 2 ½ years.

Ben is currently studying for his CPA Exam, accounting for Ben is a second career; he has a BA in Political Science and History and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Louisville. Ben worked for five years as a Grant Writer / Grant Administrator for such agencies as Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Wayside Christian Mission.

Besides One Southern Indiana, Ben is active with Jeffersonville Rotary, Develop New Albany, Grow Jeffersonville, and is Vice President of Administration/ President-Elect of the Louisville Chapter of Institute of Managerial Accountants.

As an Ambassador for One Southern Indiana, Ben aids the chamber in membership recruitment, retention and after hour event management. He regularly attends monthly meetings, ribbon cuttings, and after hour events. One Southern Indiana depends on our volunteers to help connect and build new relationships for future business growth within our organization. We are thankful for Ben's continuous support of the efforts of One Southern Indiana.
