June 2009 Ambassador of the Month

One Southern Indiana would like to congratulate Kim Martin-Dawkins for being chosen Ambassador of the Month for June 2009.

Kim Martin-Dawkins, of PNC BANK, is an Assistant Vice-President and Branch Manager at the PNC Indiana Main office located at 400 State Street in New Albany. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Kentucky, she joined PNC Bank in 2004 after spending eight years in business management. She is currently the President of the New Albany Business and Professional Women and actively serves on the board of directors for the Arts Council of Southern Indiana as Vice-President. Kim gives her time to local youth by volunteering with the Youth Entrepreneur Success (YES) program and the CHOICES program, a nine month mentor program for at-risk 5th grade New Albany girls. Kim was recently named the 2009 Emerging Philanthropist for Floyd County by the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana.

Kim aids the chamber in many different areas including: membership recruitment and retention, after hour event management, and she regularly attends monthly meetings and ribbon cuttings. One Southern Indiana depends on our volunteers to help connect and build new relationships for future business growth within our organization. We are thankful to Kim for her continuous support of the efforts of One Southern Indiana.
