Stephanie Ringer selected as EPIC Awards finalist

Louisville, KY –  Stephanie Ringer of WorkShop, the creative workplace has been named a finalist in the 2010 EPIC Awards hosted by the Louisville chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

The EPIC Awards honor women business owners who demonstrate a winning combination of excellence as a woman business owner, professional accomplishments, initiative and creativity in addressing major business challenges along with civic and community involvement.

Eleven local entrepreneurs from the Kentuckiana community have been selected as finalists. The woman business owner of the year will be announced Thursday, March 25, at the 16th Annual EPIC Awards Luncheon.

“This year’s finalists are really the cream of the crop in Kentuckiana and are a diverse representation of the industries being lead by women business owners,” said Maggie Harlow, chapter president. “It is by celebrating the economic development successes of women owned businesses that our entire community succeeds.”

NAWBO’s mission is to strengthen the wealth-creating capacity of its members and promote economic development; to create innovative and effective change in the business culture; to build strategic alliances, coalitions and affiliations; and to transform public policy and influence opinion makers worldwide.
