YMCA 'STRONG KIDS' CAMPAIGN TAKES OFF WITH ZEAL
At a kickoff luncheon for volunteers recently, the YMCA of Southern Indiana's annual "Strong Kids" campaign got a jump-start with the announcement of $52,258 in pledges already made toward the $100,000 goal.

YMCA of Southern Indiana board members Bob Kleehamer of River Valley Financial Bank and Diane Thomas of Coldwell Banker Real Estate serve as co-chairs of this year's campaign and posed with a sample banner that will be hung at both branches and will be personalized for those who pledge $1,000 or more in this year's campaign. Those people also will be named to the Chairman's Round Table.

Joe LaRocca, CEO of the YMCA of Southern Indiana and executive director of the Floyd County Branch, handed a campaign packet to volunteer and Y board member Dan Walsh, CFO of Horseshoe Southern Indiana. In the center is Y board member and campaign volunteer Ruth Schmidt, RN, of Clark Memorial Hospital.
