Legislative Breakfast at IU Southeast postponed

NEW ALBANY, IN (Feb. 17, 2010) – The Legislative Breakfast scheduled for Fri., Feb. 19, at Indiana University Southeast has been postponed until April.

The breakfast was rescheduled due to legislative committee meetings for some of the presenters.

State legislators serving local areas, including State Sens. Connie Sipes and Jim Lewis and State Reps. Ed Clere and Steve Stemler, were scheduled to provide a summary of the current session, highlight sponsored bills, and take questions and answers from the audience. This legislative breakfast was being presented by Hoosiers for Higher Education, Louisville/Southern Indiana Chapter of the IU Alumni Association, and the IU Southeast Alumni Association.

The legislators will provide a recap of the current legislative session at the rescheduled event in April. A final date has not been set for the April event.
