Clark County Red Cross Accepting Nominations for Bales’ Awards

Nominations for the 2010 Bales’ Humanitarian Award are currently being accepted. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2010. The Clark County Red Cross annually recognizes members of the community who display the qualifications of community service, high ethical ideals, fairness, good will and friendship. The person should live or work in Clark County.

“We are starting preparations for this year’s Gala,” said Wilkins. “Each year, we are impressed with the wonderful nominations we receive and the committee has a hard task, narrowing them to select the honorees. I am sure we will have another fabulous group of nominees.”

The Gala is also the primary fundraising event for the Chapter. In addition to the dinner and honors, a live and silent auction will provide attendees the opportunity to support Disaster Relief efforts in Clark County.

The 2010 Bales’ Humanitarian Gala will be held at Kye’s in Jeffersonville. Tickets for the event are $75.00 per person.
