2010 Business Hall of Fame Laureates
Four legendary leaders… one spectacular evening

January 25, 2010-- Four of Louisville's outstanding business and civic leaders will be inducted into the 27th Annual Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame on March 4, 2010, at the Kentucky International Convention Center Cascade Ballroom.  A reception honoring the inductees will be at 6 p.m. followed by the awards dinner at 7 p.m.

The event, hosted by Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana Inc. with title sponsor WDRB-TV/Fox 41 and dinner sponsor Crowe Horwath, recognizes individuals for their significant contributions to the Louisville business and civic communities.  Those honored demonstrate business excellence; courageous thinking and actions; vision and innovation; inspiring leadership; and community involvement.  Also, they are role models for future generations.

The Laureates are chosen by a selection committee independent of the Junior Achievement Board of Directors, staff and WDRB-TV.

These distinguished business leaders will join 81 previously honored Business Hall of Fame recipients:  The late John A. "Bud" Hillerich, Founder, Louisville Slugger; the late Joseph H. Huber, Jr., Founder, Joe Huber Family Farms & Restaurant, Inc.; Dee Maynard, Retired, Keystone Services, Inc.,  Daniel C. Ulmer, Chairman, Louisville Bats Baseball.

Tickets for the event are $175 for individual seats or $1,750 for a table of ten.  For more information contact the JA office at 502-561-KIDS (5437).

The late Joe Huber, Jr., the founder of Joe Huber Family Farm and Restaurant, Inc., in Starlight, Ind., will be among four laureates and hundreds of celebrants at JA’s 27th annual gala event on Thursday, March 4, there at the center.
