Southern Indiana offers a full range of leading telecommunications services from various providers.

AT&T Indiana, Indiana's largest telecommunications company, is the primary telecommunications provider serving consumers, businesses and organizations within Clark and Floyd Counties. With over 170,000 miles of fiber optic cabling in service, 98% of SBC Ameritech lines being served by digital switching, and more than 80% of customer lines having access to ISDN, the company continues to build and operate world-class communications networks in Indiana.

There are three daily newspapers serving the area, The Courier-Journal (Indiana Edition), The Tribune (Floyd County) and The Evening News (Clark County). Numerous other weekly newspapers, including Business First, also cover Southern Indiana.

All major networks - NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX - have local stations serving the market in addition to cable. Numerous radio stations cover a wide range of programming.
