Sponsored the Regional Minority & Women Business Owners Conference at Caesars Indiana now promoted through Harrah's as a 'Best Practice' to sister casinos.

Hosted 10 inspiring TGI Fridays for professional women to share their stories of personal and professional successes.
Created an online portal for members to post their events and 'hot deal' discounts.
Implemented the Annual Safety, Health, & Environmental HR Conference.
   
Growing the Economy Through Local Leadership
Added 2,190 projected new jobs, $84 million in new capital investment, and $75 million annually in new payroll with 15 newly announced projects.
Provided referrals, links to state contacts, and assistance with expansion planning with over 130 Business Retention/Expansion visits to local companies.
Partnered with Greater Louisville Inc. on a regional approach to economic development by signing the first-ever formal cooperative agreement to market, attract, and retain businesses in the Louisville/Southern Indiana region.
Co-founded the Ohio River Bridges Coalition (with GLI) to support building the Ohio River Bridges Project as quickly and as inexpensively as possible – members include more than a dozen business, civic, labor, and government organizations from Louisville, Bowling Green, Shelbyville, Elizabethtown, and Southern Indiana.
   
Representing the Business Community
Developed the Business-Education Exchange explaining what businesses expect from employees to local high school teachers, counselors and principals – will host three to four exchanges per year.
Secured funding (thanks to L&D Mail Masters) to send all Clark and Floyd County public school fifth graders to Junior Achievement’s Exchange City in the 2007-2008 school year.
Hosted the 9th Annual Youth Entrepreneur Success Program – a three- day program that gives youth the chance to experience and explore the possibilities of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, business development, and leadership.
Generated one-on-one group meetings with local, state, and federal elected officials and staffs pushing for local projects, including dorm and
classroom projects at IUS (success!) and IVY Tech Community College in
Sellersburg (success!), as well as supporting Southern Indiana appointees to important state boards.
