The Annual Meeting gives us an opportunity to share our accomplishments of the prior year with our members and provides a preview of what to expect the upcoming year. Board of Directors and Lead Investors are acknowledged. Awards are given out for Ambassador of the Year and Chairman of the Year. This event draws an attendance of over 300 members.

Owners Conference

In its 11th year this conference boasts nearly 100 exhibitors and 500 attendees, six workshop sessions, on branding and marketing your business, strategic planning, social networking, sales, wellness & stress relief, and leadership. The MWBOC has helped thousands of MWBE’s connect with each other, non-minority and woman owned businesses, and corporate partners to build their businesses. To make the conference even more all encompassing, we have incorporated two Match Maker sessions and a Certification Connection.

22nd Annual Business Awards

Each year One Southern Indiana acknowledges the achievements of home-grown businesses based in Southern Indiana at our One Southern Indiana Business Awards luncheon. This year we celebrate 22 years of recognizing business owners and their tremendous accomplishments in front of an audience of more than 350 attendees. Awards are give for:
- Main Source Bank Business of the Year Award (less than 25 employees)
- Frost Brown Todd Business of the Year Award (25 or more employees)
- Sam Day, Kightlinger & Gray Professional of the Year Award
- Audiacom Rising Star Award (for businesses less than five years old)
- Greenebaum Doll & McDonald Economic Impact Award

Business Expo

Location: Kye’s I & II
One Southern Indiana’s Business Expo offers Southern Indiana and Kentucky Businesses and area Not-for-Profits the opportunity to showcase their products and/or services to the community. This free event is held each year and will showcase nearly 100 exhibitors making it the largest business-to-business expo in Southern Indiana. Attendance ranges from 500 – 900 each year. The Expo allows exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to network with other businesses, as well as offering the public the opportunity to learn more about what is available in their community. The roster of members participating runs the gamut from building contractors and caterers to marketing firms and financial institutions, with everything in between.
