2008 Business Awards Finalists Announced

On May 15th, One Southern Indiana will be awarding five local businesses with a 2008 Business Award of the Year.  The program salutes outstanding businesses in five categories.  Independent judges selected five winners based on the following criteria:  Business History, Community Involvement, Response to Adversity, New Opportunities Created, and Innovativeness of Product / Service.

Youth Entrepreneur Success Program Taking Registrations

The Youth Entrepreneur Success (YES) program, to be held on June 24th, 25th & 26th at Prosser School of Technology, is now taking registrations.

YES is a three day day-camp hosted by One Southern Indiana. It is designed to give youth ages 11 - 15 an opportunity to experience and explore the possibilities of entrepreneurship, team building, finance and leadership. Students will spend their time meeting and talking withsuccessful business owners, lawyers, accountants, and bankers as well as marketing, advertising, and sales professionals. They will participate in Team Building activities to build leadership and communication skills, work in teams to develop an advertising campaign and sell a food product.

YES is limited to the first 56 students that register and registration closes on June 2nd. If you have any questions, please call 812-945-0266 download a registration form.
